moonmoon performance

Most of you noticed that moonmoon fails to handle a lot of feeds. Moonmoon is still a young project (don’t forget the current version is a 0.1) and making it work was the priority until now. But from now on, I think I’ll tweak the performance a little bit so we can use it with more feeds. I started to introduce more caching mechanisms so expect a faster moonmoon soon.

  1. Nice to know development is still going. :)

I haven’t had problems with any feeds so far, but then again my planet (or should I say moon?) is only a couple of days old.

Any hope of a new release soon? :)

  2. Great ! Very happy to hear that you’re still workin’ on, I’m really very happy of moonmoon, this is really a nice project, I just hope that it’ll become more and more known by all.

    Good luck !

  3. I’ve run into a speed problem at my site. I’ve got a ton of feeds.

I’ve also noticed that it seems to ping sites every time someone hits the page. That is probably not right as its is supposed to do that every 60 minutes.
